A Bucket, A Mop, & A Sledgehammer

Typographic zine narrating the story within ‘A Bucket, A Mop, & A Sledgehammer,’ an episode off of the true-crime podcast ‘Criminal.’ The zine covers the story of a woman who pioneered the crime-scene cleanup industry in Australia. The overall design was inspired by newspapers and true-crime media, with textures throughout the book and a simple red, white, and black color palette. The zine is hardcover and hand-crafted with screw-post binding. It also comes with several freebies, including a bellyband, bookmark, business card, and a miniature ‘guide to crime scene cleanup.’
